My scrolling doesn't work on Toshiba?

I have a Toshiba satellite and just recently, the scrolling feature on the touchpad doesn't work. I have tried searching for pages and tried finding scroll lock ( I tried it and it didn't work). What do I do? Usually to scroll, I can just slide on the side of the touchpad. The computer recognises that I am attempting to scroll but just doesn't do it. Thanks.
